The front of tea pot is inscribed '' KANZLEI DES FUHRERS ''
On the bottom on tea pot there is a makers mark and logo which reads;
JOHANN SELTMANN
CROWN HALLMARK
VOHENSTRAUSS BAVARIA
HEYE
This China teapot was used in the Berlin Reich Chancellery during the Second World War and was likely liberated in 1945 from the ruins
I have never seen another of these teapots, it is incredibly rare and likely the only one left in existence, this is your chance to own a piece of history
Condition: there is a chip on the rim under the lid, and also a small chip in the lid itself. The rest is in very good shape and it displays nicely
